Richards River Camp

Set in the peaceful south east of the Mara North Conservancy, Richard’s River Camp offers guests the opportunity to explore the Masai Mara away from the madding crowds.  The design by Elizabeth Fusco, combines authenticity with high level luxury as not seen in any other property on the Mara.

Eight beautifully appointed tents, including a family suite have uninterrupted views over the Njageteck River and plains beyond, the camp allows for total privacy and exclusivity.  Game drive, night drives and walking are all offered.  The camp has minimum footprint and runs on 100% solar power. The Ngoyanai springs provide permanent water, drawing in large numbers of animals to the area around camp.

The owners, Richard Roberts & Elizabeth Fusco are passionate conservationists and founded the Mara Elephant Project in 2011, all guests staying at the camp are encouraged to visit the headquarters and learn more about their work.  Richard was raised in the area and together, he and Liz have now been operating luxury safaris in the Mara for over 20 years.
